I know Lowe's/HD don't have this. Haven't tried local lumber yards yet. Just wondering if there were any woodworkers here that might know a sure fire place to find some.

Update: Lowe's in Gonzales had them. Go figure

They don't. I went there Friday looking for them. OP, please update if you find them. Weird coincidence I've been looking for untreated 4x4's the past few days..

Had to find some last year when living in Pensacola. With no luck at lowes, I asked the lumber worker there. They normally have a general idea, because you're probably not the first person walking in there looking for untreated 4x4s

84 lumber has # 1's, 15 bucks for a 10 footer. Got em in January to build some beds.

Allegedly, being in closed quarters with the treatment the use for lumber is not the best idea for your health. I took it from someone who would know better than I, but why risk it when I could find untreated was my thinking

Building a cart for a kamado grill. wanted 4x4s for the legs cause i thought it would look nicer and it'll fit together better with the way i designed it. Don't want treated despite it being an outdoor piece because I'm staining, sealing it. Figured treated 4x4s wouldn't match once stained. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, lol

Ed Price doesn't carry them. The only place I have found them is st Lowes on Millerville. No other Lowes and no location of HD has them. Lowes on Millerville has them but they are in bad shape. If you are using for legs, you should be ok.

Stutzman Sawing near St Francisville can cut anything you want. If you want the info, I'll text him and post it.

Get fishfighter to cut you some.... He has a sawmill.

If that doesn't work just glue 2x4s together with titebond 3

Using the table top from this project, cutting a hole for the pit and sitting it on a cart with a shelf underneath. Adding some off road casters (jk, but they need to be heavy duty) on bottom because my patio is totally brick and cheap wheels don't last long on it
