UPDATE IN OP / SJW's in action - Delta Air bans shipping trophy animals

I have flown Delta since I was a kid but their giving in to this makes me want to pick a different airline.
As predicted by some posters American and United jumped in on the bandwagon today too. Not sure who I am going to fly now.
"United does not ship lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard or rhinoceros trophies as freight, and we have not done so previously," a United spokesperson said. "United also follows all U.S. domestic and international regulations, which prohibits the possession of trophies or other items associated with protected species."
American Airlines tweeted its policy Monday evening: "Effective immediately, we will no longer transport buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion or rhino trophies."
Delta Air Lines announced Wednesday that it has banned shipment of exotic animal trophies as freight.
“Effective immediately, Delta will officially ban shipment of all lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo trophies worldwide as freight,” Delta said in a statement. “Prior to this ban, Delta’s strict acceptance policy called for absolute compliance with all government regulations regarding protected species.”
Delta, the only U.S. carrier that serves South Africa directly, had been accepting hunting trophies if customers provided appropriate documentation to U.S. customs officials and if the animal in question was not a protected species. The move comes amid an outcry over the killing of the well-known lion Cecil by American hunter Walter Palmer, after the lion was lured out of a Zimbabwe wildlife reserve.
A Change.org petition launched by Chris Green, a Delta Diamond Medallion flier, received over 390,000 signatures and called for the airline to institute a ban.

Its basically a person with nothing better to do rather than bitch on social media and blogs about something until a company/government/business changes policy/bans something/closes.
Did you hear about the small diner in Maine that kicked a customer out for a screaming baby? Well, you shouldn't have, but SJWs have shut that family's business down.
Did you hear about the major airline that was SJWed into not shipping trophy animals on their airplanes and then SJWs on the other side of the debate called for a ban of the same airline?

THE frickING LION WAS NOT WELL-KNOWN!
That's like claiming you are just in tears because some D-list telemundo actor got killed.
Trending does not equal well known!
My god! 99.9999999% of those fricks never heard of him and never would have!
But everybody and their cousin knows you when you are dead. "I remember Cyrus. We did lions together back in the 80's man..."

What a fricking embarrassment. There are few times "pussification of America" is correctly applied, but this is a fitting use.

I mean who really fricking cares.

FFS...
Delta is within their rights to pursue this policy but I think it is fricking stupid for them to take sides in this.
I would rather take Frontier, Aeroflot, ValuJet, or RyanAir than Delta at this moment.

They will still accept lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo non-trophies. Just tell them you are shipping it for non-trophy purposes and you are good to go.

Sums up a lot of the OT and Poli board.

I'd just FEDEX it back, I'm sure Delta's fees were astronomical to begin with.
