I used to be a firefighter. There is a frickTON of tomfoolery and joking that goes on around a firestation. None of it has any impact on a fireman. If it does, then that firefighter usually doesn't last long. You have to have thick skin and you have to be able to take a joke. Even if this was a joke it impacted 0 people in that department. The media fricked this all up and that innocent boy lost his job. They should be got damned ashamed of themselves. Those guys are a tight knit group that trains together to save YOUR shite without dying themselves. Give them a fricking break.

As a black guy that eats a hell out of watermelon, I can see why this is offensive. Why did he put the bow on it? I would have accepted it with squinted eyes and a lips snarled. Then the scene would have cut to me eating the watermelon in the corner with my back hunched as if I were hiding while watermelon flesh, seeds and juice flew about

thought that's just how dudes, in general, interact with each other. Everyone fricks with each other about whatever the obvious thing is... that you can mess with them about.
It is. This is how normal dude interact which each other when they are friends.
Notice I said normal dudes. SJWs are not normal.

All it takes is one sensitive prick to ruin it for everyone. Goes to show that the voices spoof many are drowned out by the shrill shriek of one.

Really? I mean, really? If I walked in with a watermelon and said that I bought it just because I heard that black folks like watermelon, why on Earth would that offend you? That's just a nice thing to do. I don't get why your panties are in a wad over this.

A few overly sensitive drama queens love to be offended.

If he was aware of this and thus gave you one why would that be offensive?

Agree. It's really the vocal few who create drama for the rest of us

For fricks sake. If you walked in and said that it’s racist. If you simply walked in a put it down for people to share and eat it isn’t racist. Is this so hard to understand?

I like watermelon more than any black person ever has.
Fried chicken too. For years, I ate Popeyes at least 3 times a week. Fried chicken is still my favorite food.
ETA: frick it, Im going to get some now.
