Universal Orlando Announces New King Kong Ride

The current Pirates ride isn't much different than what has always been there. Still a great ride and one of the most popular in the world.

i heard johnny depp sometimes gets in full character and replaces the robot in the ride.

Last time we were there the Juraassic Park ride was down. I hope this is not just a re-theming of that ride.

It isn't. It's being built next to the Jurassic Park area: LINK. The Jurassic Park ride is the large, gray building just above the retention pond. The cleared area to the east of the pond is where they're constructing Kong.

Jurassic is a water ride. As mentioned above the Kong ride is completely new construction.

King Kong was my favorite ride as a kid at universal.
