Has anyone done both parks in one day. Want to hit up both harry potter worlds. On a Monday in may, so not prime season. How doable is this?

Doable but you obviously won't get to do everything at both parks.

Hit the highlights in each park you want first and then check stuff off your list.

If you can stay on property and get the fast pass you will be much more able to see more attractions.

They used to open the park an hour early for those that stayed on property too. That was the only way I agree to get in line for Harry Potter. I think the Harry Potter Ride is overrated but most folks love it because it's "Harry Potter". Go figure.

You can do it, you just got to be on top of your shite and not dilly dally. If you've got anyone in your group that's gonna hold you back by looking at shite or asking questions then you gotta leave them behind. Can't let them drag you down.

If you stay at certain on site hotels, you get the fast pass for free. That will help you get through everything.

If you stay at a universal resort you get in the park an hour before everyone else. But yes it can be done.

Just did it on Friday. It is most definitely doable but you are talking 13 hours at the parks. The express passes are 100% worth it. Prices on those vary per day, so if it isn't a peak day it should be 65 pp for both parks.

Did it about a month ago with front of the line pass. Easy to do like that. Also some of teh rides are down. And the water rides had no line cuz it was cold. Was awesome.

Def do Harry Potter stuff first

Only ride that was closed was hulk. It should be open this summer. The new Kong ride, which looks badass, will also be opening this summer. IMO, this is where universal blows Disney out of the water. They are always refreshing the parks.

It's very doable. Nowhere near as hard as some of the other posters in this thread seem to think.

Get the fast pass option. Hit the park when it opens, and go straight to the Harry Potter area. This is the only area where you're going to have any delays.

My family did it. Nothing past the Harry Potter areas took longer than 10 minutes to get on the ride. Rode some of them twice.

Yep. I did pre-Potter. The Express option helped a lot.

My buddy and I did all 4 Disney parks and 2 Universal parks in 3 days one year. Didn't miss out one much either. GOAT.

Have I heard right, that the harry potter rides don't work with fast pass? And is the dueling dragons, or whatever they're called now part of that?

The express pass works for all rides.

Yes. IMO there's not actually enough at IoA to spend the entire day there.

They didn't allow it last year when we went on July 4th. But even then we only waited 40 minutes and rode it twice. Get the fast pass for everything else though.
