I never understood why these companies decide to come out and alienate half of their customer base. If I was one of their shareholders I would be throwing a fit.

ill never understand these companies issuing statements on political actions. What does a travel "ban" have to do with workout gear? Did they think this statement would somehow add shareholder value? Just shut up and make good shirts.

Well Nike, Addidas, and Asics all publicly oppose the travel ban as well. I'm guessing you guys were all for UA last week when the CEO, who by the way is on Trump's manufacturing council, said Trump was "a real asset" to his company. Better go by some orthopedic shoes.

I think they often overlook the "alienating half the customer base part" whole drooling over the "let's be as PC as possible" part.

Whether I agree with a company's position or not, it's not smart IMO to mix business and politics.

When OP started this thread it was a few flurries. Looks like it's going to turn into an all out blizzard in here with all the sensitive snowflakes. Hahaha

Nike is way worse. Their entire board opening opposes Trump and his agenda.

Because the half that they alienate by being PC won't stop buying their shite at nearly the same rate as the half that are alienated by supporting Trump. These CEOs aren't stupid. Like it or not, the people speaking with their money are pro-PC.

I'm going to bet that UA's base is 70+% conservative based on the price of their shite.

Take your feelings to the poliboard so you get the circle jerk reinforcement you want.

theyre a billion dollar company. Your viewpoint boycotting them won't even register on their radar nor will any boycott you diehards believe will.

Sack up and get unpoor

I believe they are a British Company, at least they were. Guessing Yeezys are out as well. Slim pickens for the fragile people in this thread.

Why does everyone think conservatives are the ones with buying power? It's a verifiable fact that democrats tend to hold the largest amount of purchasing power.

I'm a conservative for the record.

Y'all are clinging to Reagan era numbers in the modern day and it's just sad

Did you hear what Nike's CEO had to say about Trump? Better find another sports apparel co.
