Tuesday Softball Players

Any OT'ers looking to join a softball team on Tuesday nights? LaSalle Park in Metairie.. games times are 6:30, 7:45, or 9:00. each game is 7 innings or hr - forty five. the season start in a few weeks and will last roughly 12-15 weeks
the league is overhand men only, its pretty laid back competition although a few guys out there are hoping to be noticed by the Yankees still.

I've played in this league and it is fun. Them old men can put some dirty movement on slow pitch overhand softballs.

guys get married.. have kids.. change jobs.. etc. its tough to keep a group together for 10+ years. after a while, the well runs dry and you have to find players from sources other then your Rolodex.

I've played on a few teams in that league over the years... it's fun, I wish I had time to play bc I definately would

I played in an overhand softball league in New Orleans and we used baseball bats instead of softball bats, best time I've ever had playing softball. Too old now but wish they had a league like that in Baton Rouge.

I played at St. Roch Park and several others back in the 70s. Overhand pitch and wooden bats. Sweet fun!

Every league has these guys. Usually they are angry construction workers or guys who couldn't play NCAA ball and are still seeking a minor league contract.

Shoot me an email.. we have been A league for the past 5 or so seasons but I asked to be dropped to B next season because we have been having difficulty fielding a full 10 man team week in, week out

OP said Metairie in body. Overhand slowpitch, it's umpires discretion as to how hard you can pitch. Some allow fastballs and some make you have an arch. It's quite ridiculous but makes for better games.
