At the very least, they should be prohibited from the left lane while within the city(s). No reason whatsoever for them to be passing in urban areas.

The need to be able to get in the left lane to let people on the interstate, go wide around people on the shoulder, etc.
It's not as easy as "no trucks in the left lane." Do you really want one busted as car going 40mph to hold up miles upon miles of big rigs in the right lane? It'd be terrible. The "keep right except to pass" law needs to be more enforced.

I agree completely.
Absolutely no reason they can't hold up traffic in only the two right hand lanes on 12. Why do they need to do it in the passing lane?
