Yeah I've heard of it before. I think alot of these "no credit check" car lot places do this. I would imagine anyway.

It probably doesn't cut it off while running. The key is just disabled and won't start the engine. Pure speculation, though.


I guess it might stick you in a bad neighborhood.

I think they can just remotely deactivate the cars ignition. Not necessarily the key. That way they go where they are going, but once they turn off the car, they are not starting it back up.

I've heard of this as well.

I'm calling BS on that one. Whitney merged with Hancock Bank a year ago or so and went from a huge regional bank holding company to an even larger conglomerate with that merger. I doubt that Iberia Bank could even afford Whitney's toilet paper costs.
