I usually buy the cheap, $6 a blade Alco (or what ever the name is), but yesterday, I asked the guy at the part store what is the best blade on the market.

He said the TriCo Force. They are $26 a blade (not their most expensive) and I have to admit, these things are the tits. You cannot even hear them when them swipe.

I asked about the RainX blades and he said they are good but not as good as TriCo. They are the same price but you are paying for the name with RainX.

Any other good blades out there?

Bosch Icons aren't bad either same quality as the RainX

I switched to Bosch and have been very pleased. They have a graphite coating, as does the Rain-x. The Trico has teflon. The cheap ones are just rubber.

I've had the Bosch Icons on my truck for about a year and they are holding up very well. Much better than the Michelins I had been buying from Walmart. No fading of the frame and the blade is still rubbery.

I've used the tricos and they wore out a lot quicker than Bosch Icons. The rainx blades are supposed to be as good or better than icons but I've never used them
