I am going in July, wondering if I should go flight over ferry...
Asking the OT for help.

I'm sure a local has a boat you could contract.

Which USVI?
St. Thomas, Croix, or John?
And for a day trip or for you to stay there for the week?

Ferry is probably way cheaper.

He's going to have to go to West End or Road Town to check in at BVI Customs anyways...

We did the ferry from Tortola to St. Thomas a few years back. It wasn't bad, it was kind of long though. I was on the ferry when I found out about the tornado that hit Tuscaloosa.

Ferry to Roadtown

I would be really surprised if a flight is even an option. Tortola is basically right there next to St John and St Thomas. Hour ferry from red hook maybe?

Anyone have a "Must DO" list for the BVIs?
We will have our own catamaran.

The Baths at Virgin Gorda, Soggy Dollar bar, Willie T's, shop downtown. Hit downtown Charlotte Amallie (sp) in St Thomas. Hit Cruz Bay in St John and just spend a day seeing the island.
Can't go wrong no matter what you choose to do down there.

As was said, Soggy Dollar Bar. I personally really liked the "bubbling pool" on JVD as well, but I just looked at it on the map and I can't believe the wife and I walked as far as we did to go to it.
