Transgender M/F playing sports

Should transgender people have to play sports as their original sex or the sex they now identify as? There's a transgender person that plays recreational tennis in my area. She was born a man but is now a woman and gets to play as a woman. Seems a little odd to me that she gets to do that, it's not like when you have the surgery it removes your ability to hit the ball harder. Maybe since it's just recreational it's allowed. I'm not sure if this same rule applies in college/pro athletics, would've been a really easy way to get a full golf/basketball/tennis scholarship coming out of high school.

Serena gets to play on the WTA. I don't see a difference.

there's a former dude that fights on some female mma circuit and beats the shite out of people. Doesn't seem fair to me.

They should have to play as the identified sex. They've made their beds, let them lie in it.

They should all play as men.
Born a man- still a man
Born a woman- probably taking testosterone shots=unfair advantage.
All play as men
ETA: after thinking about it, let them play as their chosen gender. This will only affect women's sports which is filled with lesbians. Transgendered are part of their "community", so really they are only bothering themselves.

Its only a matter of time before this question comes up at the Olympics and they say original sex since the rest of the world isn't as PC as the U.S. Then the shite will start with protests and SJW's here demanding that we boycott the Olympics. Meanwhile, all the other athletes that spent their entire lives prepping for the Games will get fricked over.

I seriously can't wait for this to be a big issue one day.

Short answer: No.
You're born a man, you play as a man.
You're born a woman, you play as a woman.
Deal with it.

They should have to play with their original sex unless they've had hormone therapy for > 40 years just in case there are any lingering advantages. So basically... They should be banned from competitive sport IMO. Imagine a semi-pro male in any sport competing in any women's sport. Pretend he's transsexual, keeps his junk, got a nice income while destroying that sport, and then retire a man again. There probably wouldn't be many that do that, but the mere possibility...

They should be put in mental hospitals.

I've never really thought about it.

They get to choose as it would be "insensitive" or "unfair" or "discriminatory" for society to dictate a choice to them. They are "free" to choose.
Am I doing it right?

It'd pose an interesting dilemma for guys who played bball in college, but weren't good enough to make the pro's.

Dilema?
Call yourself a lesbian woman, sign a multimillion WNBA contract, keep the rest of your life the same.
