When you look at population, it's incredible that Indiana, Alabama, and Louisiana are on that list.

Yep... It's like we go out of our way to do stupid shite in most cases. It's almost impossible to be so terrible in some many areas unless you're actively trying.

With those numbers being collisions, deaths, and injuries from left to right, looks like Californians are doing something wrong compared to Texans. You've got 10% of crashes resulting in deaths for Texas and 31% for California.
I wonder what would be the best way to tease this list out to account for population differences between the states. Maybe some sort of equation incorporating miles of track and number of crossings fitting in population in there somewhere as well?

I'm surprised we're not higher on that list being we're a port city and all the refineries around here.

Those trains rolling through Gonzales must be doing 50 mph. Sometimes they stop still blocking the roadways. Don't understand these engineers.

They have cars to spot in the Gonzales area. Not the engineers fault.

Cars to spot ? What does that mean ?

Drop off at specific locations.

That is one of Ascension Insulations trucks. The sales rep texted me yesterday with this pic.

Looks like they found a permanent solution for their temporary problem.
