So you're in NOLA.

You're trying to turn left.

Light turns green.

You proceed into the intersection.

Make the left.

(What's this?! Another red light to cross?!?)

Do you:

A: Stop at the new line as if it was a regular light, but literally 20ft from your original stop?

Or

B: Continue through the left if its safe to do so, and/or yield? (I.e. No oncoming traffic)

(Hint: if you pick "A" you're a count)

B, I have had this thread before and the general consensus was as long as the neutral ground was less than thirty feet you drive through it as a left turn yeild on green.

If it's a wider neutral ground, like say West End, then you stop for the light.

New Orleans has a huge hard on for these stupidly designed intersections.
