When a person gets hurt in a hit and run, it's a terrible crime that gets news coverage. If you search
WBRZ articles tagged "hit and run," it comes out to 1 or 2 a month where people suffer injuries. It's not limited to Baton Rouge either.
On a brighter note, the family did a great job today spreading the word about this incident. Got a lead from this board, media coverage, Crimestoppers, offered a reward, made a FB page. Tons more people know about this while it is still fresh because of the efforts.
