More than that, Chicken - he was like the #2 or #3 guy in the entire organization, reportedly - so maybe that's not true.
It is going to be tough for him to walk a lot of that crazy stuff back, though. He was the face of both celebrity recruiting and church recruiting, generally for well over a decade.

My company forced JMW on many of us. It was a big waste of time and delivered bad results for several.

I thought the same thing about his career when I saw that documentary. At some point, even Tom Cruise is too toxic, especially given the reports that people didn't like working with him because he'd bring in massage therapists for the cast and it'd turn out they were people from the church trying to evangelize about how great it was.
If Tom Cruise leaves the church, it's because it's a career move designed to make him more marketable under the auspices of being a good dad.

I am halfway through watching the scientology documentary here.
And I think Tom's mental stability around anyone much less a young child should be questioned. Way before worries of a spoiled hollywood brat. L. Ron Hubbard is beyond bat shite crazy. His new leaders are far worse. It is a sick, beyond sick, cult.

The Church of Scientology just moved into the old Great Wall restaurant off of Airline. Before that, it was in the 'medical neighborhood' behind the current location. It used to be located right next door to my dentist.
