I think it is now official: Tom Benson is not in a good mental state

“They tried to kill me for one thing,” Benson said. Asked to explain further, Benson said, “You know by picking on my wife and when I wasn’t feeling very good they were very hostile.”

All that Tom meant was while he was down with all the knee surgeries they put him through stress. Aka "Trying to kill Me".

Tom is goofy but he used a typical southern saying and for one I'm happy to see the entitled not get things handed to them.

Go Tom, Go Saints!

I really hope he dies soon so we can have a reality show about the family knife fight over the estate. Its gonna be great.

But I'm super pumped about the upcoming 8-8 season.

Screw him and his clan. NEVER FORGET they tried to steal our Saints in the middle of the night after Katrina and smuggle them to TX.

He can burn as far as I am concerned. Him and his stupid arse umbrella on the field.

yea, but you really want to try and avoid saying things like "they tried to kill me" while under oath and on the record

3 NFL teams in Texas makes more sense, anyway.

New Orleans is getting smaller by the year.

Id be super pumped if they had gone to LA after 50 years - 40 sub 8-8 seasons and only one superbowl. (along with untold millions $$$ of funding from La taxpayers)

San Antonio Saints already fits. City is tired of being a pawn for other franchises to leverage new stadiums.

See: Minnesota Vikings, Miami Marlins, Oakland Raiders

Maybe Saints can use S.A. as leverage for a new dome.

It's not his team. He's a bubba and probably hates pro football.

And to the guy who said Nola it getting smaller each year.
And at last check there were like 50,000 people on the season ticket wait list.

That's old news. Benson tried that after Katrina and won. FEMA rebuilt the dome to Benson's exact recommendations.

I would tell them bye. Would miss them though but I don't want anymore tax dollars funding for profit sports.

Archie Bunker Benson is no friend of New Orleans. It it wasn't for Commissioner Tagliabue, the Saints would be in San Antonio. I actually don't mind Gayle since she's at least getting the old man to release his death grip on his nickels and spend some money in the City.
