a musician traveling on the crashed amtrak train who had the audacity to ask for her violin back

About 15 minutes after the deadly wreck, Ms Kim sent out an acerbic tweet directed at the accounts @AmtrakNEC and @Amtrak which read: 'thanks a lot for derailing my train. Can I please get my violin back from the 2nd car of the train?'
The tweet was accompanied by a blurry cellphone photo that showed first responders in blue uniforms converging on the toppled train.

The message, condemned by other Twitter users as insensitive and in poor taste, has since been deleted, along with Jennifer Kim's account, as The Independent first reported.
But the damage has been done.
Many commenters marveled at Kim's perceived callousness and lack of compassion for the victims of the devastating crash.
Jacob M. Schmitt wrote sarcastically: 'Because your violin is the highest priority for EMT's and first responders right now.'
Another outraged user Steve Hallett fumed: 'Some woman was complaining to Amtrak after her violin got destroyed. Are you kidding me...'
But others have rushed to Ms Kim's defense, including a Twitter user named Sarah who urged the violinist’s critics to 'give the girl a break.'

When something that traumatic happens, you go a little kookoo in the head.
Plus, she's Asian. Our musical instruments are our lives to some of us

Am I supposed to disagree with this?

I mean that is a retarded text but all it means is some employeer will now get a brilliant high IQ employee at a discount since some faggy companies won't hire her due to the tweet

Think she really needs to look on the bright side. She has now dodged 2 bullets.
Had she been born in China she'd likely have been tossed in a well as a baby.
She survived a train crash
With perspective shitty violins in an age of iphones and zunes isn't so important

quote:Meh. This one actually seems logical rather than upset or outraged.
Jacob M. Schmitt wrote sarcastically: 'Because your violin is the highest priority for EMT's and first responders right now.'
quote:Steve is outraged that a woman who goes through a traumatic experience sends a facetious tweet to the company that caused that bad experience? Yet, unless Steve was also on the train, he probably didn't have anything near as traumatic happen to him yesterday. Steve probably failed to see his own hypocrisy when he not only failed to show compassion but outright criticized somebody that went through a traumatic experience.
Another outraged user Steve Hallett fumed: 'Some woman was complaining to Amtrak after her violin got destroyed. Are you kidding me...'

Maybe she hit her head.

In her defense violin is even in her twitter name, probably a big part of her meaningless unproductive life

I hope she doesn't get the free travel voucher up to the price of her trip that's good for a year.

People love to be offended

Reporting what people say on Twitter is some of the stupidest looking and sounding journalism.
Everytime I here or see it I just shake my head. It sounds so completely and utterly ignorant.

According to a biography posted on her personal blog, Jennifer Kim graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor's degree in economics and the prestigious Julliard School with a Master's in music.
She is a member of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra/Washington National Opera Orchestra and a substitute for National Symphony Orchestra and New York Philharmonic.
Working as a studio musician on the side, Kim has recorded on soundtracks for more than a half-dozen movies, including last year's Noah starring Russell Crow, Julie/Julia and True Grit.
She also has worked with popular singers like Sting and Michael Buble.

Has she been fired from her job yet?
That's how you know the internet mob was successful with their over the top criticism.
