Download f.lux and help yourself rest up! I found this on WSJ while reading late at night, go figure.

LINK /

(Links never work when you post a picture also I've noticed)

"Ever notice how people texting at night have that eerie blue glow?
Or wake up ready to write down the Next Great Idea, and get blinded by your computer screen?

f.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day."

My eyes feel much better with less eyestrain after downloading it and using it for a few days. I thought I'd pass along the information to those who aren't aware or looking for a solution. Here is my computer for a comparison. It does take a night to get used to it.

Is that a ThinkPad you're using?

I'll give it a whirl, why not. I'm on my Google chromebook however.

I haven't tried f.lux, but I wear Gunnars (computer eyewear) while I am sitting at my desk. I work 10 hour late night shifts in front of a wall of monitors, and these things really help with eye fatigue. They basically block out blue light (like f.lux does) and slightly magnify your view.
