I can't remember the last time I had a good server. I went to Antoine'a about a month ago and got a server that has been the for 70 years. He was slow and could not hear.

When and where was the last place you actually wanted to give a large tip? (Based on service and not IWHI rating)

Is pure shite. I can cook a steak better than them. They're very overrated.

If you're getting shitty service it's because you give a I don't tip vibe

I'm sure you get just fine service you just sound like the kind of person that looks for something to get upset over.

Steaks are alright but way overpriced. Service and sides are a joke.

Ate at the one in Asheville and was surrounded by elderly tourists ordering $50 filets burned to a crisp.

Meh.
I haven't had bad service in at least three years.
You probably showed up at Antoines(which is hit or miss) in shorts and a fanny pack so they gave you the bad server

What is good service? Keeping my drink filled, bringing me my food on time, getting the check when im clearly done, and leaving me alone is great service to me.. i tip like 50% at this small japanese retaurant I frequent... at hooters.. lets go 15%.. i dont tip for fake flirting.. but others obviously do.

About a month ago at Mansur's on the Boulevard, Baton Rouge. Young guy, LSU student, made some good suggestions from the menu, was very attentive to refilling our drinks, brought more bread without having to request it. 25% tip.
