People like you suck. That valet you don't tip is likely paid the same as a server and relies on tips. That's how it was back when I valeted.
Everyone needs to work in the service industry at least once in their lives.

If you prefer to tip when the driver gets there, give them what cash you feel would be appropriate.
I thought about that but then they see no tip on the thing I figured they'd consider spitting in my food

I was always under the impression that the $5+ service/delivery/whatever charge on top of your order always went to the driver?
I don't tip them.
They're paid just like any other Uber driver. Based on time and mileage. Do you tip your normal Uber driver?
Instead of dealing with arse clowns they just deal with some french fries. They probably wait less to get and deliver the food than they do for people to meet them outside and get in the car.
Most Uber drivers I talk to prefer eats because of that exact reason. Same exact thing but less customer interaction.
And Valet...If I have to pay for the valet then FCK YOU you're not getting a tip. You know they're pocketing most of it. If it's free, then I tip. I could park the damn car myself.

Yes, you cheapskate. With the wear and tear plus gas on their car, it's estimated that they mostly make minimum wage.

Conclusive proof that everyone needs to work in the service industry at least once.

For the LONGEST time Uber drivers weren't even allowed to take tips...now it's on me to pay more? I'm not paying anymore because the company underpays it's employees and decided to pass that cost on. The founding idea of Uber is the no fuss fee, no cash, in and out.
Valet versus SERVICE industry...there's a huge difference between someone creating and executing a culinary experience for 45+ minutes than someone who took 20 seconds to bring me my car.
Which I could of parked and retrieved myself except someone decided to sell the parking lot rights for that specific time to another company...if that company charges me they should pay their employees. If that company doesn't, I'll pay their employees.

Which is why I only use Lyft. They treat their drivers better as well as their customers, and the cars are on average nicer. Ask anyone who works for both of them, cheapskate.
Please get a part time job in service for once in your life.
