Do you tip for ubereats? I tip for normal delivery but this is my 1st time using this. Also do they allow you to tip at the end in the app?

Yes. I used to drive for Waitr and I got $2.50 per order. Nothing was paid to me for gas. If you prefer to tip when the driver gets there, give them what cash you feel would be appropriate.

Yes as in they allow me to tip in the app or sign a slip to add a tip? Or do I need cash?

Jeeeze. And no other payment? Basically you were netting like $1 a delivery if that without tips?

if someone brings your drunk arse a meal at any given time on any given day, seems like you should throw them some kind of tip

Pretty much. But thankfully most people here are very thoughtful and generous with tips. So I made decent money

No. Answer the door faking a phone call. Ensures no awkward small talk

I tipped because Yolanda was working hard and had a 1992 Toyota that was beat to hell with faded paint. I felt bad for her but my food was cold and shite was spilt everywhere in the container. I still threw her a $10 bill. Want to make sure the next time I order they don't splooge in my food.

Bingo...no Ubereats here, but I always tip when food is concerned.

Of course you tip, they are bringing you food. Jesus cheapskates worry too much about tipping on here. Make a peanut butter sandwich... Need advice how to make that?

It's insane that you had to ask this question

I typically tip 10% on deliveries or $5, which ever is highest...don't know if that is too high or low...just seems right

$0
I was always under the impression that the $5+ service/delivery/whatever charge on top of your order always went to the driver?

You're full of shite. Everyone knows that's not the tip dude

Idk i always thought it was the surcharge for the delivery or the money going to the driver. Kind of like if you charge me 5 or 10 to valet, I'm not tipping you on top of that. I've already paid you for the service. If it's "free" valet, of course I tip. If there was no additional service/delivery charge for ubereats, of course I'd tip the delivery person.

Yes, tip. And yes you can do it in the app.

People like you suck. That valet you don't tip is likely paid the same as a server and relies on tips. That's how it was back when I valeted.

Yes, especially if you live somewhere downtown where it's a bitch and a half to park.
