I just rest my weary head on my Antonio Banderas love doll when I go to bed.

I got one. Slept on it one night. Worse pillow I've ever used. It is just a sewn up pillow case with shred up foam inside. I don't find it supportive or comfortable.

If you like a firm pillow, this is the one to get:

I got one about a month ago, and let me tell you, it's legit. I sleep waaaaaaay better on this pillow than any I've ever used. If you're a soft-pillow person, though... skip it. This one is for lumberjacks, pro wrestlers, and OT Ballers only.

I've found the pillow to be very good. A little pricey, but I like that the guy tells you up front - how often to wash/dry (roughly every 3 months, dry on HIGH), and how long he expects them to last (10 years). That's appealing, as is that while they do compress, a little over night, they're very easy to restore to fullness and remain supportive all night.

So, I recommend them fairly highly.

We (me and the little woman) use them. Pretty darn good.

My wife and I never leave the house without our "my pillows".

Seriously.

We travel with them.

Wonderful pillows.

What is the MyPillow? As in, what type of pillow is it?

I've done down, memory foam, latex, and shredded versions of mem foam and latex.

I keep trying different types but ultimately the most basic Tempurpedic ones are the type I use the most.

Hell if I know. I just wanted to know what the big fuss was all about.

I've tried several memory foam pillows and still have one old one (too old) that is my favorite. I recently bought a My Pillow, and it's pretty good. It's the only pillow I've kept around aside from my old favorite. I prefer it for sleeping on my side. I like my old one for sleeping on my back. I swap them out all night long.
