That Muzzy commercial "Yes that's French they're speaking, and no they're not French, they're American." Like that was supposed to be the most groundbreaking statement of all time. American kids must have been amazing back then!

Back in the 60s the school made us watch films of a plain-looking woman with a black beehive hairdo teaching French. All I remember is her constantly saying "ecoutez and repetez."

Have never had to use it, but folks in South Louisiana do sometimes.

I mean it's not like living in Texas I have to know Spanish.

You want people to stop stealing your got dang oranges off your orange tree you better know at least the phrase "Get the frick off my lawn puta" in spanish if you live in Tx.

French teacher had us watch a few episodes in middle school. I used to love singing that theme song. I remember more about the French teacher than the show, though.

I haven't thought about this in so long.

My favorite part was the skeletons who had the hit single, "We Call Ourselves the Skeletons."
