Airline west of David Dr. is probably the grimiest looking thoroughfare in all of JP.

Really? David Drive in general, but from W. Napoleon to W. Metairie in particular, is about the shittiest stretch of houses in Metairie. How FEMA justified spending money to raise some of those decrepit, broken slab, crooked arse shacks is beyond me.

yea but north of airline isnt bad. Just a small stretch south of airline. And it's all pretty much secluded from the rest of the parish.

Along the lake is different.

I moved away 12 years ago and the apartments in that area were horrible then. I can't even imagine now.

Above W Esplanade from Power to the Causeway has been nice as far back as I can remember. All of my mom's side (minus her dad) live North of Avron within a few of blocks of each other. Other than kids doing stupid shite, no real crime around there.
The best thing for Metairie is to compartmentalize the lower class into certain areas and fine the rest of the slumlords into selling.

Agreed. But, I don't really have any experience with that. Just know what my assistant has to say about her hood. Half my family came from MCG.
