old e-friend just posted this on FB
i honestly don't even get the last line. sounds like social justice empowerment gobbly asian misapplied to a situation where it isn't warranted

Getting real sick and tired of people inviting me places and expecting I won't be bringing my daughter. If you don't want to be around kids, then why make plans with a single parent? I decide when to go out solo, not you. /end rant

They have a point to a slight degree. But dragassing your kid to adult functions would aggrivate the shite out of me

Probably a shitty patent trying to bring their young kid into the strip club.

She sounds like a joy to be around.

Anyone with any social etiquette should be able to feelout the situation.
Is someone inviting you over to a 4 couple dinner party or is it a Sunday afternoon bar-b-que?

I feel bad for kids raised by a single parent, it's so shitty for them.

sometimes poor moms are cool and attractive, but sometimes they are a real drag

Why would she bring her daughter places she doesn't belong?
Posted on 11/7/15 at 6:34 pm to SlowFlowPro
Her (I'm assuming it's a her) single friends are making single person plans, and she is bitching that they aren't accommodating to her situation. She's stupid self centered. They are being thoughtful even inviting her. If she can't do it because she has a child then that's understandable, and she's right that it's her decision if she wants to go out solo. They are just giving her the option by inviting her. Sounds like she might just be jealous because she has responsibilities.

he's just frustrated...probably sitter issues
wants to bring her with and wants folks to know that
bringing her with once in a while would be ok, but not for all events...
he needs to ask, family event or adult..end of problem
good he's there for his daughter

It really isn't hard to not have a kid these days. Not saying shite doesn't happen, but most of people just are irresponsible. If that was the case here, deal with it.

Kind of unwritten rule as a parent, single or not, that you verify if it's a kid friendly event.
This sounds much more like a sitter issue since the focus is the single parent perspective.

as for the op, I hate when people talk about being a single parent. it's pathetic. just do your fricking job and quit crying. there are much worse situations to be in
