With the unfortunate event of the Orlando mass shooting, I've read a few articles revisiting the views of some politicians on assault rifles sold to the public.

Political Board side: Are we about to see another month to month tirade on getting rid of assault rifles and ammo for the "greater good"?

Outdoor Board: Are we about to see another inflated price run on AR's and ammo, and if so, is it time to go out and buy 1000 rounds?

Money Board: meh, don't have anything for this actually. Other than, if it's time to start stocking up on ammo, what is the best round to stock up on for price?

Last time this went down and there were all the ammo shortages I bought a fair amount of Smith and Wesson stock. It worked out very well. Might not be a bad idea again....

We're about to see a month of liberal mental gymnastics. A muslim slaughtering gays is going to cause a meltdown.

What are publicly traded manufacturers? Winchester? Remington? Colt? I'd be curious to see stock prices of those on Friday and open on Monday?

See my post above. Matter of fact look at the returns since Obama was re-elected and the sandy hook shooting.
