Me and a buddy are coming down to the game from Arkansas this weekend. I'm an LSU fan and he's a razorback fan. Our route will be Monroe, Natchez, St. Francisville. We will have 3 kids ages 7-10. We would like to give them a great Louisiana expierience. Any cool restaurants or things to see along that route?

Pig Out Inn in Natchez for BBQ. Port Hudson battlefield is pretty interesting if you have the time.

In St. Francisville you can stop by the Myrtles Plantation and see some ghosts. For food, they have an excellent restaurant - Carriage House Restaurant.

I haven't been in years, though.

If you stop in Natchez, take them to magnolia under the hill. You can sit and eat while you watch the river roll by. Food is good also. Lots of cool pictures on the walls to look at.

Make SURE you stop in Monroe and eat at the Chile's! I recommend the chicken tenders.
