When the thief walked out of the store I noticed something shiny hanging on her pants, just to our left of her pants snap or button. It looks like it could be a badge. LEO's wear them like that.
I originally thought it was her keys but she clearly has them in her hand. So she has a car and was heading toward it. When she left the store she went out and to her left so I will assume she was parked that way. The exit for that end has about 4 traffic cameras at the light. For those leaving, the cameras are set up to take pictures from the front of the car, then as you turn, to catch the plates.
The article says the incident occurred about 3 pm. If they review the footage, they will have her front view driving in her bright red jacket and aqua blue shirt. They then just have to look at the other camera angle and there is her license plate.

DOTD owns most. Some of the red light revenue cams are installed and operated by a company out of California or Canada.
I do not know who operates the three in front of Hobby Lobby in Covington but I would bet that one of them took video or stills of this thief. One of the others got her plate.
