Everything from Taco Bell is overpriced, and the dog laying on my lap gets better quality food

Yep. My 50-pound basset has no qualms about trying to crawl into my lap. A big-arse baby.

Reminds me of one of my favorite stories:
2 Aggies walking by a house and see an old hound on the porch licking its balls.
1 Aggie says to the other: Man, I wish I could do that!
The other Aggie says: Me too, but I'm afraid he'd bite me.

Took my GS mix to vet yesterday. She is 45 lbs and tried numerous times to get in my lap in waiting room. People laughed. God, I love that dog.

My dogs maneuver themselves so they're lying on their backs with their head in my lap. I then brush their chests and bellies while they do the dog leg tweak thing.
Then, when I stop with the brushing, they go totally nuts until I start brushing them again.
It's all a game, but I'm glad to brush their coats. It sends them into Dog Nirvana, and I'm sure most of you have the same experience with your hounds.

My little 9 week chocolate lab pup is curled up sleeping with his head on my leg right now. Lightning and thunder woke him up and he ran to me to pick him up then went right back to sleep.
