The worst thing to ever come out of Mississippi

has to be Comcast. And that's saying a lot. (I learned today that Comcast was founded in Tupelo, MS)
Incredibly frustrating dealing with customer service at this company. If they weren't allowed to buy off local governments to make them exclusive providers, they would be out of business in a month.

Of course not.
The only time they're worth a shite is when you're a non-customer inquiring about their service. They'll lay out the red carpet for you, sign you up, and then proceed to be just as shitty as the company you had before.
I'm sure this thread will be littered with people who've had good experiences with cable companies, myself included, but as a group they're awful.

In my 4 year experience, it's not so much one "thing" as it is the attitudes of the residents of that glorious state, especially those north of the coast.
