Have you ever had a deal where you were totally hoodwinked? Catfished? Etc. I had a totally fine chick I just started dating tell me she had 4 nipples. It was pretty much over at that point.

Fell for the "two brothers and a stranger" deal on one of the first cars I ever bought.

That time I handed over a house, car and took on someone's debt. That's up there...

I was a freshman at LSU getting money out of the machine at the Chase in the North Gate area. A cute girl walks up to me with some sob story about losing her purse and only having a check from her dad for $200. I fell for it and cashed it for her in my account. Of course it ended up just being a scam. I'm embarrassed just thinking back on it.

Pussy power knows no bounds, especially on young men.

I click every Meauxjeaux2 thread thinking it is going to be another "better gas mileage at 100 mph than 50mph" piece of history, and it turns out they usually aren't that bad.

He has been mysteriously absent today, I was looking forward to his advice in the Denham Springs thread.

When I bought my first home, an older brick home in a good neighborhood, the home inspector I used was recommended by the realtor, so I went with it. I specifically asked if the A/C unit was in good shape so that I could drop my price by 6-7k and replace it if it wasn't.
He told me it was tip-top for its age, would probably need replacement in 5-7 years but was running well.
Bought the house in January, A/C died in May as soon as it started straining a little with heat. The guy that came out to look at it told me it should have been replaced a long time ago and was shocked it still kinda worked.

Listened to my cousin (who goes to cburch) about which auto mechanic (who went to the same church) to take my truck.
Guy fricked me for over $1400 on an AC repair. And played the church card the entire time. Lied to my face several times.

Bought a bag of fresh lawn clippings in the middle of the night once. Worst part was that it was full of ants.
