The lotto is nothing more than a poor man tax

And to make it worse it is a voluntary tax.
True or False.

I was waiting for someone to show up and tell everyone how he'll keep his $2 and turn it into $11 by the time he turns 65.

Dude, it's socialist wealth redistribution in reverse. Quit fricking complaining.

If you get any govt financial assistance, you should not be allowed to buy lottery tickets.

It is a tax for poor people and they prey on weak minded individuals. Ten or fifteen dollars here and there can be substantial for a poor person.

The poorest person in this country can find $2 pretty damn easy. Hell, the bum on the corner near my kroger probably makes 30k/year just begging. I think the poor will be okay with this "tax."

I'm a bigger fan of people who pretend they really only spend $2 at the lotto.

No one forces them to pay your so-called "tax". I guess you can't see the difference.

Poor people spend far more on 40s and loose cigarettes. It's amazing that those idiots can't delay gratification long enough to buy an entire pack of cigs for the price of 4 or 5 loosies

So you think it would be better if you told people what they can and can't spend their money on?

Negative. The payout for those of us who CAN afford it would be much lower...or take longer to build up.
No one HAS to play. Not a tax.

The poor need to pay their fair share

In GA and FL lotto money is invested in college scholarships. I'd rather the free-loaders invest it back into something positive than meth and booze.

With meth and booze they are actually getting something for their money.

I love you guys that show up every time the lotto gets big and post the exact same thing.
No one cares, and people waste $1 or $10 on much worse things (including booze)
It's entertainment
