Working in BR and gonna play either The Island or Santa Maria. Which one do y'all recommend? I've never played The Island.

Santa is bound to be saturated after those weekend storms. That course holds water a lot.

I've played both and are pretty equal in my book, but if I had to choose I would say Santa Maria.

Since only one of those is in BR, I'd go with that one.

I played Santa Maria last Friday. It was in good shape. The greens are slick for a BREC course.

I was under the impression that the majority of the neighborhood is an older demographic?

The island is always the best place to play when we get a lot of rain. It drains excellent.

Good call. The island does drain pretty well. Pelican is another well drained course.

Just make sure that you are not finishing between 4:00 - 6:30 and trying to get back across the bridge. Trust me.

Why not play "The Islands of Santa Maria." Or, just skip them both and play The Pinto?
