Most of you younger ones probably aren't aware of this great southern humorist, but here are prime examples of observational humor told from a perspective that most of us can relate to. Best clip is #3. I hope you enjoy.

Last Confederate Soldier
Damn, brother. Don't believe I'd told that!

I've read several of his books and they are all good for a side stitch or three. Funny funny guy.

I'm in my 30's and have an appreciation for real humor, especially as it relates to my heritage... GFY.

Used to read Grizzard's articles in the paper. Always searched them out.

Love the man. Every time I hear someone refer to coke as "pop" I think of him. Really wish he would have had the opportunity to play a Yankee in a movie.
Personal favorite book of his: I Haven't Understood Anything Since 1962 and other nekkid truths.

Thee is probably a weirdo Tex-Mex douchebag board for you to do your shite instead of here. Or else there should be.

Still have all the books.
You should read his farewell to Catfish, when a pet dies.

One of the great ones - read several of his books. (Yes, I'm over 70)

I have multiple books of his and I'm only 30.

Read his column and he used to be on Larry King frequently. He always had a lot of great stories.
