It's a good start.

LSU, ULL, Tech, UNO, and Southern should be the only four year Universities. NWST, McNeese, Nichols, and Grambling could offer two year programs and transfer credits to one of the 5 four year Universiteis.

The problem with these types of closures is that it completely forgets about low income or non traditional students that can't pickup everything and move to a new city for college.

Now, if you make these closures with an emphasis on internet programs and small satellite training centers, then I think this could be viable.

Politically Southern isn't going anywhere. At least this list is politically doable.
