It will be years.

But I got that email too. It's a start.

I did not realize it was built in 1958

Middleton is one of the most hideous buildings ever constructed by man and I'm amazed it was ever approved in the first place

Before Middleton Library can be demolished, a new library would have to be built. Initial plans call for the new library to be built southeast of Tiger Stadium. The new library and learning center would be on a new quad around which new classroom and research buildings would be erected, he said.

Demoing two buildings to leave as green space and courtyards while building completely new buildings elsewhere doesn't seem fiscally responsible when not a year ago we were told the university was in such dire straits, that they may have to cancel the football season they don't even pay for. This surely can't be accurate, right Mr. King?

Not only is it hideous, it was placed right in the middle of the Cross and turned it into the quad.

Lockett creeped me out. I use to have a night class in there.. In the basement and for some reason I use to think the elevator would stop when I was in it, after class..

If the budget problems are so bad, tearing buildings down to rebuild them somewhere else doesn't seem fiscally responsible.

I understand a new library must be in olace before tearing down the old one, however it's a shame they couldn't tear down Middleton and build a new one on site

What's wrong with Lockett? I had many a class in the basement there.

Middleton I agree needs to go. Terrible

If I remember correctly that is where the #1 professor at LSU Benjamin Martin held all of his classes.

They shouldn't tear them down just refurb them like they're doing to Pft.

I forgot what it's called, is the building with the dinosaur skeleton still around? That was an absolute dump. I was embarrassed that building was even on the LSU campus.

Yeah, there are other buildings with classrooms that are in much worse shape than Lockett. The only problem I see with it, is that its an ugly building... I think Allen was the worse building I ever had a class in.

Yeah. I think they built a new building that connects in the back.

As long as they don't demolish Coates I fine. A good glory hole is so hard to find these days.
