And they're still going to leave that dock there like a giant anal wart on display.

Very nice. Looks like it will clean up that area well

Hopefully it gentrifies the fricked out of the Presidents streets. That's prime real estate that is ruined by the trash that lives there.

That dock is already under construction as well as a lot of the campus on the levee side

did you not see what they're going to do with the dock?
They're not doing anything with it. It's just going to sit there like a giant clown nose.

I'm talking about the actual dock that extends into the river.

No, people will be able to walk on down to part of it.

It's considered a landmark (not sure if official) and early designs were to have the building sit on it but removal was never even considered.

I hope they clean it up. It has several pilings missing on the north side.

I want to know on which future date will the Mississippi River actually have a reflection of the bridge like they are showing in that drawing.

where are they getting their funding for this project?

They're still there except for one, just in pretty bad shape. That one at the northwest corner is gone and the digital is no longer diagonal. Little bit of spalling but in decent shape considering how old it is. I've seen bridges still in operation that look much worse.
But yeah, the area will only be the width of the part that returns to the new building that use to have the conveyor on it.

So why don't they demo it?
