Anyone been to this. Thinking of going one weekend. Maybe something my 2 year old son would get a kick out of. Also not too far from us and seems like a way to get out of the house on a day we've got nothing else to do. But then I saw the tickets were like 25 bucks a piece no way it can be worth it, right?

It's fun. Just expensive. Traffic sucks.

I went in High School it was pretty fun, much better than the one in Hammond.

Used to go a lot as a kid. It's fun. Looking forward to taking my kid.

Meh. 2-year old. Only pricey if you pound beer.

Troof... Plan accordingly. NOTHING happens in Plantersville, except this. EVER!!! So the roads are made for the other 320 days of the year.

Used to go when I was a little guy, loved it. No idea what it's like now, that was like 20-25 years ago

I'm going tomorrow.
Buy tickets at CVS or Walgreens. Save some $$ on getting in at least.
Expect to spend about 100-150 while you're there. Turkey legs for the win.

Usually go every year. Nice way to spend a fall day. Be sure and go to the Dead Bob show - he is hilarious. The shows are all good.

Went all the time as a kid and it was a blast which is kind of funny because a lot of the humor is lowbrow.
Eat a turkey leg, eat a bread bowl potato soup. If you are staying overnight in the camp I promise you will see some freaky chicks.

Is fun IMO. I went with my son and his 5th grade class on a field trip 7 years ago. The weekdays are pretty tame from what I have heard. The weekends bring out the freaks. I wanna go back on a weekend.

They've cleaned up the campsites some. I believe there is even a family campsite. 15 years ago camping out was one of my all time top 10 drunken escapades. I am putting that in there with frat parties, bachelor parties, and Mardi Gras.

We've got mead!
I've been once, but it was fun and I will go again.

I think Walgreens, Costco, maybe some other places have half off tickets. Also kids are free Sunday. 2 year olds might be free every day.
