NB4 trashy

Looks just like Cabo, if Cabo had rattlesnakes and was prone to ice storms from November to March, and tornadoes the rest of the year..

I don't think Dallas has any oceanfront area. Might be a challenge.

Picture of the actual proposal. I'm only 30 mins from Lake Ray Hubbard, so I'd check it out.

Don't they fine you for using too much water in the Dallas area for your lawn, etc?

If that's true, no thanks.

I think the plans call for the developer to build the ocean too.

Anything that would make traffic worse than it already is should definitely be seriously considered.

I live in Rockwall, which is on Lake Ray Hubbard. This has been talked about for a couple of years now. It will go on a small peninsula, right off I-30. Traffic already backs up on the bridge, this will have minimal effect on traffic though.

DFW is approaching 7 MM residents so this is welcome to siphon some of the crowds.

And when we enter another epic drought those stumps, black mud, and old cars at the bottom of Lake Ray Hubbard will add a nice scenic touch.

Meh. Blue Bayou is better.
