Which club there are four or five. Belonging to one gets you four I think.

Where to live? Where you can afford. Everything is pretty self contained.

1 = 4. That's legit. How's that club? Do they have a junior membership

I'm looking there as well. Had family that lived there, so I'm pretty familiar. The house prices have skyrocketed recently due to Exxon moving there. Don't know if I'll find what I want in my price range now. It was definitely there 3-4 years ago. I'd pay a little more to live in the woodlands though.

Looking at Cinco Ranch as well. I have a year from October 1st to move, so I'm taking my time with the decision.

Have you considered kingwood? Not sure on the prices but I would imagine its a little less than the woodlands. It's east of the woodlands.

I'm going to be working at I10 and beltway 8 on the west side, so Kingwood is like the opposite side of town for us. The woodlands is far too, but my other office is at beltway 8 an 45 so I can justify it somewhat.

I see. I am not sure what's in between where you work and the woodlands. Good luck.

Live on the westside.

Do yourself a favor, what sort of price can you put on getting an extra 2 hours a day back?

I know and Cinco Ranch is on the top of the list right now. I just really enjoy the time I've spent in the Woodlands. I'd love to live there. Not really worth it though as the houses I can afford are 10-15 years older anyway. But as far as location, driving is just part of my job. My customers can change any day and I have a new office to go to. Good thing is I can leave at 3:30 to beat the major traffic. Kind of have my own hours outside of random meetings.

Where to live
Are you looking for a house? If so you really can't go wrong-any of the villages off of woodlands parkway are nice and vary in size/price. I live in Indian Springs and it's close to I-45, the pavillion, market st, etc...Since you're my age and no kids, if you're looking for an apt they have 2 really nice places by the waterway called Millenium and Towncenter that are surprisingly affordable ($2,000 for a 2BR). They are within walking distance of a bunch of bars, restaurants, shopping etc...They have a bunch of smaller, cheaper complex off the parkway that are really nice too. My friend lives in Holly Creek so I can recommend that place.

Goose's Acre and Baker's street pub are my 2 favorite bars. They are in the waterway. Mixed crowd but mostly people our age and a little older. Molly's off of Rayford is fun too. Tailgaters is where I catch the LSU games, awesome bar, tons of TVs, great food, pool tables, and a good bit of LSU fans. And as already mentioned the Cynthia Woods Pavilion has bands playing every weekend and it's a great place to catch a show. And lawn seats are better than regular seating.

--haven't played there yet, I usually play Carlton Woods, but I've heard its a fantastic course. No shortage of courses around here and pretty much all of them are top notch. We can get a beer when you get in man, just email me at Sampson69TD@gmail.com. if you need to know anything else. I'm 28 and was pretty much in your position 6 months ago
