Depends on the time of year you are going. When are you going?

If it's in March...that's when Spring Training is going on all around the valley area. If you are an MLB fan it's fun to check out a game.

Also...weather is awesome this time of year. Old Town Scottsdale is where you want to hang out. Lots of bars, clubs, restaurants, shopping...all within walking distance.

It's one of the many resorts here. Point was that Scottsdale isn't brown....very green here compared to other parts of the Phoenix Metro valley because of the $$$ resorts and golf courses spend. And that the city spends on lots of green parks, etc.

Is that the Hyatt? I stayed there like 6 or 7 years ago. Unfortunately, it was a bit cool and I couldn't enjoy those crazy pools. Anyway, this thread has been coming up a lot lately.

Actually, I was in Scottsdale for 4 days this past October.

Other than the golf courses I played, I did find it to be very neutral in color.
