Do any of y'all have experience with Charter or AT&T regarding cable/internet?

Satellite is not an option.

I've had Uverse and Charter. Charter's internet is better and you get the same channels on TV for cheaper. Uverse goes way up after the first year. The Uverse interface is awesome though. Charter's interface feels stuck in 2005 but the picture is just as good.

All in all I like Charter better.

AT&T U Verse is great. Starts off reasonably priced but after a while they sky rocket, just have to threaten to leave then.

I live in Frisco and have U-Verse for TV and Internet. I have been very pleased. One of the things I like about it is the ancillary TV boxes are wireless so you can put a TV anywhere in the house. I will be using this feature on Saturday as LSU and FSU (wife's alma mater) are playing at the same time so I will have 2 TV's in the family room.

I have uverse in Allen and it's ok. The interface is awesome. The bill does indeed skyrocket after a year, but they bring it back down every time we call. We don't have many outages.

Yeah the tech for Uverse is way ahead of your typical cable company (although their internet is slower than charter's). I was very pleased when I was a customer. Just didn't feel like having to play negotiator every year.

You really can't go wrong either way, especially in year one.
