Japanese taxi drivers are a special breed. I was in one in Oita prefecture and we were at a busy intersection, and the driver jumped out and peed against a wall and hopped back in without saying a word like he did it every day.

Smoked a joint with one of them just last night. Dude was cool...
... Kinda cold actually.
Had a knack for singing old rockabilly songs but didn't hold a conversation very well. Could tell he wasn't listening as much as waiting to talk. Then just drifted away. Smelled a little funny too but I guess that's to be expected.
