Has anyone done this? My wallet is falling apart and I'm thinking of making the switch. Sometimes my back bothers me and I think it has to do with having a wallet in my pocket all day.

I'd be looking for one of those combo ones that is leather with card slots but has a clip or magnet on the other side for cash. Do any of yall have good ones or have any suggestions? Thanks

I have a solid gold money clip, if you're carrying a decent ammount of cash a rubber band does the same trick.

Kenneth Cole makes a good one for relatively cheap. Mine is old. Has done me well for several years.

I use one of these with credit cards and licence in the middle. I like it much better than a wallet.

I was in the same boat and I ended up compromising on just a really thin wallet. I got this Jack Spade vertical flap wallet.

It has room for 4 cards, driver's license, and a flap for cash. I've never found myself needing anything more.

Switched to a clip a couple of years ago. Card & clip combo. I like it because I drive a lot so I don't get the numb butt. It also forces me to do something with my receipts instead of just tossing them into the wallet. Which is where your wallet gets most of its bulk. However, the "downside" is it's something extra in your front pocket. My 2 cents anyway.

And if one band isn't enough you can use the double method. They're cheap and expendable.

I made the switch about 10 years ago. I've had metal and leather. I like the leather one that I have now, it has two card slots (you can fit 2-3 cards in each slot and the magnetic clip. If going with leather pay a little extra and get a good one. I went thru about 1 a year and then the wife picked me one up at "Mistletoe" - Wildgoose Texas Made and it still looks like new after two years. But as a starter you could go pick up some asparagus and use the rubber band that holds them together. I have seen people use those just fine.

i got one of these as a groomsman gift a few weeks ago. i absolutely love it. don't know if i will ever go back to a traditional wallet

money goes under the elastic band and cards are sandwiched between the 2 pieces of kydex, and the tension is adjustable with the notches on the side of kydex pieces

Mine is a Barrington -

In mine I have 7 cards (DL, CC, prox Badge) on the side. It could easily fit 3 more. The clip is magnetic. Never go back to a wallet again.

I like my daughter's ponytail holders. They last much longer than a rubber band.

Get a phone/wallet case. It will seriously change your life. Its one less thing you have to worry about finding when its time to go.

I used to misplace my phone or wallet all the time 'til I combined the two. It's so much easier to keep track of one item over two.

I have a
Hex Case and love it. I keep it in my front pocket and don't have to worry about anything in my back pocket.
