It goes down in the Crowne Plaza. They bring in their own mattresses and everything. I used to work at a nearby restaurant and 99% of the convention-goers are

We typically have a work meeting in New Orleans at the end of July (got moved to Oct this year). Last year, the wife and I were out in the Quarter the Saturday after our meeting and saw a few of these people out and about (they were all wearing the same lanyards). NASSSSTEEEEEEE.

The N.O. events tend to be a bit off of our beaten path. Definitely a different class of patron.

In the mid 90's I bartended at a late night bar in ATL. Every year there was a convention of cross dressing men. All kinds, but a lot with facial hair, wigs and rocking a dress. Was bizarre but made for an interesting weekend at work
