As for the salmon part. I just chopped up half an onion, lot's of chives, two cloves of garlic and had about 2 filets of salmon.
Let the onion, garlic and chives simmer until soft(in margarine or butter) then added the salmon in chunks. Added some heavy cream, a tbs of flour and two tbs of sour cream. seasoned lightly with salt, heavy on the pepper and an italian seasoning mix.
Added on to the potatoes and topped with some shredded mozzarella - then back in the oven for another 5-10 minutes.
