Suggestions on books for someone mourning the loss of a parent?

I had someone very close to me inform me that her mother is near her end. They have had a strained relationship and I know this will be very hard for her. If any of you that went through such a loss and found solace in a book that ....

She is not very religious. I was thinking of sending her a CS Lewis book he wrote after dealing with the death of his wife .

Only 80 pages and is the stages of grief and acceptance

edit-it also deals with emotions prior to death of the terminally ill.

Nothing wrong with a book. People handle grief in different ways. Some might need a psychologist, some might need a book. I know this person.


She is 60.
