Subway Jared got fricked, will get fricked again

Business Insider says the woman responded, "Is this the same website you found that 16-year-old girl that you f*****? I still can't believe you only paid $100 to her."
The report says Jared responded, "It was amazing!!!"
The woman says she went to Subway to complain, but the company did nothing.
Fogle's attorney did not respond to Business Insider.

I'm not certain I want to live on a world where Jared from Subway does things like this.
I mean, I know that Jack Nicholson must have snorted cocaine off underage girls' mons pubi - I don't like it, but I know that must have happened.
Likewise, Led Zeppelin (among others) wasn't checking IDs and you know some kind of depraved shite was going on back stage/after hours at scads of these rock concerts since time began.
But, Jared from Subway ain't them. He's just a fat guy who got skinny and Subway paid him (very well) to imply that Subway made him skinny. I don't begrudge him that, but he ain't earned the right to get away with this.

You understand that it is a spectrum and highly individualized, right? I mean, somewhere between puberty and 18 (and only in some places, age of consent varies, which strongly suggests that - at some point, in some places, an act is illegal, but not immoral).
It wasn't that long ago that girls got married off at 14 or 15 - now they can't even consent to sex until 17 or 18 in some places? While I think 16 is about right, for the legality aspect of it, I respect others opinions on it.
But, I also don't pretend that having sex with a willing 16 or 17 year old is comparable to having sex with a 6, 7, 10 year old - they're just flat out not. The former is inadvisable, illegal in some places and could/should land you in hot water with the local authorities and the youngster's parents. The latter is worthy of death.
