And it was probably 1 of 10 and considered an "acceptable loss" by the cartels.

To the tune of "Gilligan's Island":
Now sit right down and I'll tell you a tale/
and I tell you it ain't no joke/
'bout a submarine that sank unseen/
with 5 tons of coke...

I wouldn't want to be around the sharks in those waters for a long time.

I'm so glad they are out there making a differnce. At least it may keep a couple of college kids from having criminal records.

Texas authorities have intercepted a semi-submersible vessel attempting to bring $200 million in cocaine into the United States.

US Customs and Border Protection agents aboard a surveillance aircract detected the vessel along the Eastern Pacific ocean.

US gets to claim a capture of a sub with highly diluted coke = WIN

Cartel safely sends 10 other subs with pure coke into the U.S. = WIN

This bargain has been going on for 20+ years and it's comical every time I read a story like this.

Wouldn't 12,800 lbs be 6.4 tons, not 5.5?

indeed,, you are no doubt correct..

but hey,, after 25 years and over a trillion dollars spent.. we are finally WINNING the war on drugs!

This is the "evidence" we needed!

hooray for us!

So apparently we can stop things (or people) from entering the country... when we put our little thinking beanies on and try real hard.
